When you come to visit at New Life you will be welcomed with open arms and an offer to "stay and visit" after the worship service with coffee and treats. Our congregation is small enough to have that family feel but large enough to get things done. Opportunities for service abound at New Life. All we need is you!
We are currently without a full time Pastor but are blessed to have Pastor John Bylsma fill in for us most Sundays. Pastor John is a retired Pastor with the Christian Reformed Church and his wisdom and love for the Lord are evident each Sunday. He has a great sense of humor and a love for people so you won't visit without getting a welcome from him! When Pastor John is not available we are also blessed to have Pastor Jerry Mitchell, Associate Pastor from New Testament Church help out as well.
You will experience a blended worship service with music ranging from current praise music to classic hymns played on our beautiful organ by our organist, Anne de Vroome Kamerling, who also plays violin for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. Anne mixes classical pieces on the organ with rousing numbers on the keyboard each week. Our Music Director, Mary Jo Rodriguez, also likes to mix things up for our choir from the classics to the those that make your heart pound! We usually put on a beautiful Cantata each year at either Easter or Christmas. We have a Praise band that plays every few weeks but also use CD accompaniment to round things out.
